Nicholas Cronauer is licensed by the State of Illinois and State of Utah, and is admitted to practice in Illinois and Utah state courts. Nicholas Cronauer is also admitted to the general and trial bar of the Northern District of Illinois Federal Court. Additionally, DeKalb Attorney Nicholas Cronauer is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Utah. He practices law and appears in county and federal court houses throughout northern and central Illinois regularly. DeKalb Attorney Nicholas Cronauer also sought admission pro hac vice to the State of Kentucky bar in 2014 for a case currently pending in Kentucky state court and is in the process of securing pro hac vice admission in North Carolina state court for a new case..

During the Fall semester of 2013, Attorney Cronauer was an adjunct instructor at Kishwaukee College, teaching Constitutional Law for law enforcement majors.
Nicholas Cronauer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Illinois State University in 2008 with a bachelors of science degree in Accounting (3.92 cumulative GPA/4.0 Major GPA) and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Valparaiso University Law School as a published associate editor of the Valparaiso Law Review and was ranked 8th in his class based upon his GPA. Nicholas Cronauer also spent the spring 2006 academic semester abroad in Florence, Italy and studied at the Instituto Lorenzo de’ Medici. Attorney Cronauer grew up in DeKalb, Illinois, and attended public school in Hinckley, Illinois.
In 2011, DeKalb Lawyer Nicholas Cronauer completed a legal research externship for the Chief Federal District Court Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana in South Bend, Indiana. In 2010, DeKalb Attorney Nicholas Cronauer also completed a legal research externship for a Superior Court Judge, in Civil Division I, Lake County, Indiana and a legal research externship in 2009 for a Magistrate in Porter County, Indiana.
